Hello, after downloading an apk file on my smartphone (Android) and clicking on it to view, here is the message received: "version not suitable for your phone, need ssl package v.45". What does this mean? Thank you in advance.

    Hello

It's simple, the file you are downloading is not compatible with something on your phone, maybe the OS is too old or too new.
HERE ssl v.45 is a component related to certificates, so security.

    Best regards

        Hello,

An APK is a binary file corresponding to an application. Therefore, it cannot be "viewed" but rather installed.

Is the source reliable? If so, you need to enable "Unknown Sources" in the security settings to be able to install it outside of the Play Store.

      Hello,

I assume you've already downloaded your APK and that it's in a downloads directory.

First, go to your phone settings > Apps and notifications. In the list, find the app that lets you browse the files on your phone. For example, Files (from Google). Tap on it, and in the information, you will see an option for "Install unknown apps" that you need to enable.

Then, using the file browsing app, go to the downloads directory, tap on your APK, and you should have the option to install it.

Hello, I know it's an old conversation, but I also have this issue with the package. I set it to allow unknown applications, but it still shows me the same message. Could I get a response, please? Thank you!

      Hello,

I suppose we have to guess the message ourselves?
