Hello, my laptop refuses all downloads due to the error message "antivirus scan failed" despite all my attempts.

It’s a Windows 10 Home

2018 Microsoft Corp.

Processor: AMD A6-9220 Radeon (if you need more details, just let me know)

Could someone please guide me on how to get out of this deadlock???

    Have you tried disabling your antivirus?

    Which antivirus do you use? Try disabling it temporarily to see if that works. Alternatively, you should go into your antivirus settings to declare the web browser as legitimate, especially for downloads. It's strange because an antivirus doesn't block downloads.

    Did you run a scan beforehand? Do you have any viruses in your downloads folder? Also, try deleting all your previous downloads :)
