Display issue on whatsapp

Hello,

Without changing anything, I have a two-part display on WhatsApp with all my contacts on the left (which I can swipe to go to my status or calls, that's all) and the ongoing conversation on the right if I want to talk to a contact. I've tried everything and can't get back to a full-screen conversation. What should I do? If I uninstall, I'm afraid of losing my contacts and conversations. Thank you for your help.

    Hello.

    No matter how many times I tried to turn my WhatsApp application upside down, I couldn't find myself in the situation you're in.

    In any case, uninstalling and reinstalling WhatsApp has no impact on contacts or chats as long as you make a backup before anything else.

    WhatsApp > 3 little dots in the top right > settings > chats > chat backup > Back Up.

    This will back up your chats linked to the account used during the creation of your WhatsApp account.

    Hello madam sir,

    I had the same problem and I think I found the solution on the tablet: go to settings, then to discussions and uncheck side-by-side display. It works for me and I hope it works for you too.
