Branchement magnétoscope ancien avec TV récente ?

Bonjour.

. Un adaptateur quelconque ?

. Ou autre chose ?

Merci

Hello

Thank you very much for your response <3

Could you please write the link to the Amazon listing?

(The link sent just leads to the photo of the adapter)

And could this adapter also work with a TV from after 2009 (the ones currently sold)?

Thank you

Here is the link to another model with RCA cables.

Yes, that's the point of adapters in general and this one in particular.

Hello Sami

How can I upload photos of the back of my TV and my VCR?

So that you can tell me where to plug which cable?

Thank you

Hello epsonette,

as a member of the CCM Forum, to upload a photo you have a bar with a "mountain":

You click on this icon.

This label appears:

If your image is already saved on your PC, use the browse function, retrieve the image and click on OK.

Check with "Preview" if your message or photo appears: you click on Submit.

And if there's a problem, come back, there are other solutions.

Thank you very much!

Could you tell me which cable among those suggested earlier should go where, on the back of the TV and the VCR?

Thank you ????

Well, it's as simple as that: your scope has a SCART output and your TV has a SCART input, but I see that they are occupied, by what? Where do these connections go?

Hello Andy31200,

it's true we don't see everything.

What we would like to know is where to connect, if possible,:

1. an antenna cable,

2. a SCART cable,

3. and a coaxial cable,

both behind this TV and behind this VCR.

In order to make them work together

Currently, this VCR as well as the television set are completely unable to utilize the DTT signals transmitted by French terrestrial antennas.

Extract from https://www.lcd-compare.com/moniteur-LGM237WDPZ-LG-M237WD-PZ.htm

Since April 5, 2016, in France, DTT channels are broadcast in a format NOT compatible with the LG M237WD-PZ.
This device is compatible with the MPEG2 format (used for SD format channels), but incompatible with the new MPEG4 format used (generally used for HD).

As for the VCR, it cannot record DTT channels for the same reasons...

With these devices, you can only play old tapes recorded before April 5, 2016.

Thank you very much for this information.

It is precisely only to read (very, very, very) old tapes (so far before April 5, 2016)

that we want to connect this television to this VCR.

But we do not know where to connect what at the back of this television and this VCR.

The VCR plays the tapes when connected to an older television. We managed to make the connections on that one.

But since the connections on the LG are different, we do not know where to connect the cables that we know how to connect to the older television.

To play the tapes, just connect the VCR with a SCART cable to the LG TV, as shown in your images.

Then refer to the manual that baladur13 has provided for you. Thank you, baladur ^^

On page 28, select Input on the remote to switch to the VCR source, which could be AV1, AV2, HDMI, USB...

For older TVs, there is an explanation (from that time), and regarding the recording of current TV shows, I'm hesitant to comment...

Sincerely

According to what I see in the photo <8> you are already connected via SCART ==> from the LG Flatron M237WD TV to a THOMSON VCR.

.........................

I currently do not have the TV manual.

..........................

You should check the input sources of the TV so that the VCR is recognized.

It's certainly explained in the manual, if you have it...

........................

For now, it is unnecessary to buy additional cables.

To visualize old tapes, only one Scart cable is needed.

Excerpt from the television manual on page 15.

For your information, the VCR manual.
