OBS: grayed out recording settings, inaccessible

Hello,

I'm having a problem with OBS Studio. The video settings are grayed out and I can't modify them. So I have no control over it, and when I record I have various issues (quality, as well as stuttering, lag...). It's very annoying for what I'm doing.

I'd like to point out that I'm on Mac.

Does anyone have any idea what I can do?

    Have you found a solution? I'm encountering the same problem (on Windows) and I can't find either an explanation or a solution...
