Access Issues and Download Problems

Hello,

I have a big problem since I changed my internet box: let me explain.

I have an excellent connection of 600 Mbps download and 676 Mbps upload, 20ms latency, everything is fine on that side, but occasionally, I can't access certain websites that give me a message saying that the site is taking too long to respond, and I have to wait about a minute before it works again. This happens to me from time to time, and it’s very annoying. Furthermore, I've been trying for several days to download a 70GB .zip file, but it gives me Failure - Server issue. I've tried everything: disabling the antivirus, using Firefox, etc.

I am wired to a router from Boulanger.

Thank you.

So? I don't really see the connection ^^' The sites that are blocked for me are only down for a minute at most, as I said, and it's mainly dealabs, twitch, youtube... before returning to normal. And for downloads, they're not illegal :)

hey

I assume it's a game, considering the size of 70GB

Is your PC running on W10/W11?

What antivirus do you have on the PC?

What brand and model is the router from Boulanger?

talk later

Thank you for your response.

Windows 10

For the antivirus, it's the basic Windows Defender.

It is indeed a game.

The router is a Boulanger AX1800.

hi

I don't think the router is to blame (according to the specifications, it's a good router ==> https://www.boulanger.com/ref/8009446

do you have any extensions in the browsers you use?

is your issue with web pages not displaying "directly" recent?

see you later

Yes, I have several browser extensions, but the problem lies elsewhere because I get the same error message during installation even with Firefox or Opera. I've had this issue since I switched to Free, but what puzzles me is that I have no connection problems aside from this :/

For the installation of what?

For the server from which you want to download, it might be congested (too many downloads at the same time).

See what happens by disabling the extensions in your browsers.

PS: is your PC up to date?

In the search bar, type WINVER and click on Open.

Give me the version of W10.

It's a game from a website. When I install a game directly from Steam, for example, everything goes well, but here it gives me a server error :/ Maybe the error comes from the site from which I am installing the game, what do you think?

The version is 22H2

I would say yes, since when you install it from Steam, it works

Your version of W10 is up to date

see you
