Is Discord automatically joining servers for me?

Hello,

At one point on Discord, I joined several servers for giveaways or just to get emojis, but since then my account keeps joining servers by itself. I’ve tried changing my password and even checked the connected devices, but it keeps happening.

Could you help me if you have any idea, please?

    Hello,

    So your problem is quite specific; normally, joining a server will involve an action, so it’s not about automation if you know what I mean (I hope you don't mind my using the informal "tu").

    Changing the password could be an effective solution; it allows you to change the token, the infamous login token that can be easily retrieved. I remind you that with possession of a Discord token, one can access an account without even having to enter login details or two-factor authentication. This means that your problem could lie here, and this might not have been noticed on connected devices yet.

    I therefore advise you to check your devices and see if they are behaving unusually or have unfamiliar files, so that you haven't been hacked. If that's the case, then I recommend you deal with that and see if your problem on Discord continues.
