Hello
My MG2950 printer won't start anymore. I have an error code 5011. The cartridge carriage isn’t moving, and the "Alarm" and "Power" lights are flashing alternately.
Have you encountered and been able to solve this problem?
Thank you for your help

Hello,
5011: This is a generic error message. Turn off your printer, wait for a moment, then restart it. If that doesn't work, follow the process in the next paragraph to reset your printer.
Resetting a Canon printer
If the above solution doesn't help, reset the printer as follows:
- Turn on the printer.
- Press and hold the Stop/Reset button.
- Press the button for making a color copy and hold it down as well.
- Wait 5 seconds, then release the color copy button first, followed by the Stop/Reset button.
- The printer will now restart and configure itself.
- The printer displays a message indicating that the device needs to be calibrated? Press OK and let the printer do its job.
There you go,
