HP Designjet 500 Plus Printer - No Driver on Windows 11

Hello,

I have acquired an HP DesignJet 500 Plus plotter that was working fine until today with an old PC running Windows 8.

I need to use it with my PC (Windows 11) but HP only provides drivers up to Windows 8.1.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

If there are no longer drivers for the new OS, either you sell your plotter, or you install W7 or W8 on a laptop or an old computer that you connect to the network and print using it...

Convert everything you want to print into PDF and print from Acrobat... The PDF format is generic enough to be understood on older OS.

Right-click on this driver --> hpdj510wx64glen.exe
Troubleshoot compatibility issues.

Normally, the setup starts to initiate the installation.
Follow the instructions carefully.
Connect the USB cable to the PC as soon as you are prompted.

I downloaded it and then extracted it. After that, I accessed several files that only contain text...

Do you have another solution to find the right driver?
