Thomson TV and Bose soundbar

I have a Thomson 50UC6006 TV and I received a Bose Soundbar 700 for Christmas.
I am currently unable to get them to work together.
Everything is connected behind an Orange TV decoder with an HDMI cable from the decoder to the TV.
And another cable from the TV HDMI ARC to the soundbar.
I cannot get sound on the soundbar or it cuts off after 1/2 second.
Is this the correct wiring?
What settings can I adjust on the TV to resolve this issue?
Thank you for your advice, Regards,

Hello and welcome to this forum,
Is the HDMI ARC function well configured on the TV and the soundbar?
I almost went crazy with this very unstable ARC that I never managed to get working properly.
So try instead an optical connection between the optical output of the TV and the optical input of the soundbar with a good optical cable:

The audio output is Coaxial
See manual page 5 https://www.mediacenter.tcl.eu/uploads/common/THOMSON_MS86-EUM1AU_FR.pdf
To use this output, a coaxial to optical converter is required

Hello,
Check in the "Sound" or "Audio" menu of the TV to see if there is an option to activate the HDMI digital output and also to set this output format to PCM or auto.
It's very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...
