TV TUCSON and soundbar
Solved
Hello,
I have a TUCSON TL43UHD20NS TV that I recently purchased and it works very well
I have a FRANSAT decoder with a satellite dish but no subscription, just a card to receive the channels and TNT
I just bought a soundbar from BOMEKER, the Odine 1, but I can't connect it; when I use the optical SPDIF cable, it is not recognized, and the same goes for the RCA cable. The TV has an HDMI port but the soundbar doesn't
How can I connect this soundbar? Is there a procedure to follow on the TV?
Thank you all in advance for your responses
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 80.0.3987.163

Hello,
This question isn't very clear.
Your TV has an optical output and your soundbar has an optical input, so no worries, BUT there should be an option to activate in the TV's audio menu, such as "External speakers," for example, that needs to be selected.

You're welcome, and if you unplug the fiber optic cable from the soundbar, do you see a red light?
Is the soundbar properly connected to the optical input?
These optical cables are very fragile, and I experienced a spontaneous breakage at my place (without any handling)

Indeed, I checked if the cable was in good condition, and as soon as I plug it in, there is a red light on. I also tried connecting the RCA cable, the red and white jacks from the TV to the soundbar, but nothing worked either. I think there might be a setting to adjust on the TV, but I really can't find it. I tried playing music from my phone to the soundbar via Bluetooth to check if the soundbar works, and everything is fine; the soundbar connects well via Bluetooth and receives the music. It's too bad my TV doesn't have Bluetooth.
Anyway, thanks for your replies, that's nice.

Start by checking the F sockets, unplugging and replugging them several times to eliminate any possible oxidation; if necessary, redo them cleanly, and be careful—the slightest "hair" from the braid that touches the copper core can mess things up...

Good evening,
I ordered a jack cable because I didn't have one at home, and as soon as I received it, I tried
today I made a huge mistake and I can't figure it out, in fact, I wanted to do a factory reset of my FRANSAT receiver with the card, as well as my TUCSON TV to reset everything to "square one", and well, it worked, I spent my day trying to set everything back up (everything was working very well before) and since then, I can’t find any channels, I’ve tried everything with both and I can't do it, could you give me the following information to follow:
my antenna connection = cable from the satellite dish to FRANSAT receiver
from the receiver to TV = HDMI cable
after which channel search should I perform? analog? cable digital? or antenna digital?
then what exactly should I do, the TV manual is really very basic, I think I must be making a source or input error when I perform an auto search for channels, if someone could help me that would be very nice
thank you in advance
have a good evening

Good evening,
I just realized that it seems to come from my satellite dish on the screen while channel searching, the quality and dish alignment bars are at zero (0%) before my receiver reset everything was fine, my dish has not been moved, plus everything was working in the morning
if someone could help me,
thank you in advance

Good evening,
I’m back to give you news about the TV, everything is fine now, the technician came, he changed the LNB head of the satellite dish, but most importantly a piece of cable was damaged (short circuit?) so he changed that section of cable, everything is working wonderfully! He connected the soundbar without any problem! Only with an optical cable (I must have made a wrong manipulation) anyway thank you for your help which was invaluable to me, take care and "stay safe and healthy"

first of all, thank you for your response,
I may have expressed myself poorly, but I did try everything knowing that the optical cable connection was a priority solution for optimal reception. However, when connecting this cable from the TV to the soundbar, there's no sound on the soundbar. In the audio menu of my TV, there’s TV output or amplifier; I selected Amplifier but still no sound on the soundbar. So I don’t know what to do anymore. If you have any ideas,
thank you in advance, have a nice day.
