No access to BIOS (UEFI) with this monitor

Hello
When I turn on my PC, my IIYAMA G-MASTER G2770QSU monitor only shows the Windows desktop, nothing before that, and I cannot access the BIOS by pressing F2.
When I connect another monitor, everything is normal; it prompts me to press F2 if I want to access the BIOS, then shows my desktop.
Why does this IIYAMA monitor not behave like the other one by leaving a black screen between startup and the display of the desktop?
Thank you for your help

Hello,
It's probably a connectivity and driver issue: the BIOS startup recognizes standard VGA drivers, not HDMI drivers.
If the driver does not allow the monitor to be recognized at least temporarily as a standard generic VGA monitor, nothing will be displayed until the HDMI driver is loaded not by the BIOS, but by Windows.

Yes, that must be it, because the monitor goes into sleep mode just a few seconds after starting up since it receives nothing from the computer, and it only comes back when Windows loads. So in sleep mode, it can't display anything...
I canceled the fast startup, but that didn't help.
On the manufacturer's site, there are no specific drivers for this monitor; therefore, Windows loads a generic driver.
Is there a solution? If I ever need to enter the BIOS, how do I do that if not by changing the monitor?

I no longer have this problem directly because I have an external monitor connected to a laptop that still works at home with the lid closed: when I need to access the BIOS, I open it and have access to the built-in screen.
If the laptop doesn't have a VGA port, maybe an HDMI or USB to VGA adapter, but at least regarding an HDMI connection, we're back to square one; it probably won't be recognized during POST.
If it's a desktop, VGA ports are more common, but in any case, the monitor must have one.
