Hello,

Is it possible to access our old MSN Live Messenger account or retrieve conversation histories on a computer today?

    Hello

    Since Live Messenger has been discontinued, you cannot "recover" the account. The histories are no longer recoverable if you have also changed machines.

        Hello,

        there used to be "back in the day," a folder: Documents and settings\your computer name\my documents.

        In that last folder, there were the conversation histories that were saved by default (normally).

        If not, reopen the application, then go to: tools>options>messages>conversation history, the window should give you the directory where the conversations were saved...

        This was under XP.
