Hello,
1 - Go to Advanced Settings / Developers and click on "Enable Linux". Wait as it downloads and installs Debian, which takes a while.
2 - Once it's done, search for the Linux terminal in the Chrome OS launchers and open it.
Then enter the following command: sudo apt install libreoffice libreoffice-gtk3 libreoffice-l10n-fr and press Enter.
Wait as the download and installation take some time. Once the terminal is ready, the installation is complete, and you should find the launchers for the various LibreOffice apps in the Linux sub-menu of Chrome OS.
Optional: you can clean the download cache of Linux to free up disk space since it is counted on a Chromebook with the commands:
sudo apt autoremove
sudo apt clean
I anticipate now:
If you want to use a printer from a Linux application, you need to install the cups package. Without this package, you won't be able to print.
