HDMI cable display issue

Hello,

I recently acquired a PS3 and after connecting it to a screen, the video display appears with stripes. Then after restarting to resolve the issue, I get a black screen with no display. Can you help me?

    Where did you buy your PS3?... on what type of screen?

    I acquired it from a friend and connected it to an Asus screen and a Thomson TV but nothing appears on the screen.

      If the PS3 has a defect, check with your friend. Let him test it again. I assume the HDMI cable was part of the package?

    Hello,

    PS3 off, connect your HDMI cable between PS3 and Television.

    Turn on your PS3 and hold the power button until you hear a beep (about ten seconds).

    Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
    Especially when it's not there...
