TCL TV Horizontal Line

Hello,

since last night a thin white horizontal band has appeared on my TV (TCL)

do you know where this could come from and what to do? I'm being asked for €40 for a quote, is it worth it or could the repairs be costly enough to just buy a new one...?

    Hello, everything depends on your budget for the price of a new replacement TV and the age of the broken TV.

    The current TV is 6 years old and as a student, I wouldn't spend more than €500 on a TV.

    Moreover, the current TV is intact aside from this issue...

    Hello, if you don't want to risk losing €40 in quotes, an intervention must be charged at €70 per hour, excluding parts.

    6 years is often the time for breakdowns; there are new 24-inch TVs for €99.99.
