Unable to play online games but internet is working

Hello,

For over a month now, I've been trying to play online games on my PC but haven't been able to.

The problem comes from my network configuration. I'm connected to the internet through a WIFI repeater. When I browse the internet, everything works perfectly. But when I launch an online game, I lose internet access completely. I have to restart my PC to reconnect and resume browsing the internet.

I think the problem might be with my IP address, but I'm not sure. I've set up a static ipv4 IP address, but that doesn't change anything.

I went to my router settings this morning, and here’s the diagram of the different connected devices:

My PC is the desktop-ID26...

I find it strange that the connection displayed is "LAN" while I'm connected via WIFI.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

For the record, I played games last weekend at my parents' place, and it worked very well.

Thank you in advance and have a nice day!

Hello,

The Fritzbox has a particular character.

Have you tried connecting via Ethernet?

And there you go ....

But misery, those line spacings are so annoying!!

Thank you for your response.

When I connect directly to the Fritz Wi-Fi, I can play and use the internet normally.

The issue occurs when I go through the path PC-30-D3 etc. There seems to be something happening with the repeater that disconnects me as soon as I launch a game...

Repeater,

is that what appears as a powerline connection in your screenshot?

What is the exact model of the product?

Exactly. My connection goes through 3 "links":

The first one is via Ethernet, the second one is PLC, and the last one is Ethernet again (which is actually incorrect since I'm connected via wifi to dlan_wireless).

Apparently, it's the Dlan 500 WiFi model from Devolo.

To my knowledge, the Devolo PLC network does not do routing, just bridging, so there is no change of local IP address in this. You will need to analyze further to find an explanation for your problem.

In fact, the Devolo corresponds to the dlanwireless in my network. I think there is an IP address change at the level of the powerline connection between the devices PC-30-D3-2D.

I don't know how to check where the problem lies otherwise?

It's definitely on one of the devices in the network, right? Since I can play without any problem when I'm on a "normal" network device (connected directly to the router via Wi-Fi).

Thank you for your help!

You should do an ipconfig /all when you are connected directly to the box and one when you are connected to the Devolo:
