Where are QR codes stored on Android?

Hello, I recently scanned QR codes with my Android mobile. I want to clarify that these are NOT the vaccination certificates against COVID; I know where to find those. I also want to specify that I am not asking HOW TO SCAN A QR CODE; I can do that as well, my question is very specific?

Once I have scanned a QR code with the camera on my mobile or the appropriate integrated software on Android, where is this QR code stored? Or how can I find the location where this QR code is stored?

Thank you for your response.

Hello,

The QR code is not saved, neither with the camera nor with specialized software.
Otherwise, you would find it in the Gallery, along with all the other images.

If you want to keep it, you need to take a picture of it (by turning off the "scan QR code" option).

What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

Hello,

I'm not convinced that the phone stores the QR code.

Hello, oh okay!! Thanks for your reply, you are probably right, in that case is it maybe possible at the moment we scan the QR code to store it somewhere manually on the phone?

Thank you for your answers.

If it's a text or link QR code, it can be copied into a text document.

OK Pierrecastor, for example, if I scan the SNCF train ticket QR code with Google Lens, can I get the text and store it in a file? I'll try, I'll post after. Thanks for your help.

Hello, thanks Pierr10, okay, I will photograph it while disabling "scan the QR code" and then I will have it with all the other images. Then will it be able to be scanned to be validated by a SNCF inspector?!

Thank you for your responses.

Hello,

That's what I did back then with the Covid certificate, I scanned the code with an appropriate app (there isn't one on my phone) and I saved the resulting image in the gallery, it never caused any issues at the restaurant or elsewhere.

Hello, okay brucine thanks for your reply. I will do the same for the train ticket and I will present the QR code stored in the images on my mobile. For the first time, I will still print the ticket and take it with me on the train just in case...

Personally, I directly put the PDF of the ticket on my phone, it works well.
