Hello, I just bought an Epson XP 2150 printer. To enlarge a document, I set the zoom to 200 in the print options. I press OK because the "apply" button is inactive. I start the printing, but the copy has not been enlarged. What have I not understood, please?

    Hello,

    It is likely that the zoom relates to the display of the print preview; to enlarge a document, it needs to be done through the native application that created it, and to fit it to a specific print format, there is hardly any other solution than to select that format in the print options.

      If you have an image file (for example), there are a number of software programs that allow you to view it, others that can create or modify it: the native application, as the Larousse dictionary tells us (for instance), is the one that is naturally dedicated to this creation or modification, it is only through it that I can enlarge or reduce this file and that I can make this image fill the whole page rather than just a quarter.

      Conversely, this is not possible in a word processor (for example, Word) unless you enlarge the font size, which is not really useful unless you want to make a poster.

      It is therefore a scanned document, and thus an image: either the scanning options allow you (before printing) to choose the size of the document, or depending on the format of this image you can enlarge it with software that supports this format (for example, almost any image processing software for jpg) and without any guarantee of being able to maintain as good a resolution as that of the original within a certain proportion.
