Hello, I have a question about an old computer I retrieved from my grandmother, and the problem is that when I start it, it asks me this in the photo below.

And I would like to know if you have a keyboard shortcut to reset the computer on startup. For example (Windows + E) which will open the file explorer, but I do not want to reinstall the Windows 2000 Professional operating system as I do not have the installation CD, I only have one installation CD which is Windows 7, but it is not compatible.     Hello,

    In order to start something on Windows, there needs to be Windows: evidently, the BIOS is trying to boot from all devices and failing, meaning the hard drive is missing, damaged, or inaccessible for some hardware reason... and there is no other way to (try to) get it to boot than to boot from a Windows 2000 CD or possibly an earlier version.

    However, there is a good chance that a computer old enough to be compatible only with Windows 2000 has one or more faulty components.

        Hello,

        Dismantle the PC, check if there is a hard drive, if not put in a hard drive like HDD or DD, boot from it and install the Windows 2000 ISO file.
