Received suspicious download via SMS

Hello,

I sent a text message to a friend and in return, I received a text to download a message. I was not cautious and therefore downloaded it. Nothing happened, but I'm afraid it might be a scam. What can I do? Thank you.

    Hello,

    Was there a link mentioned?

    Sometimes it requires a download if the message is too large. The SMS is converted into an MMS but we are supposed to be able to read it afterward...

    An internet connection is required.

    He just wrote: No subject - Message size 1KB - Expiration on September 11 at 12:14 and there is the downward arrow to download. But it doesn't work. And it clearly says MMS which I hadn't seen. :)
