Hello,

I have a Philips Android 4K UHD TV with Ambilight 3 sides: 55PUS7303/12.

For a few days now, after 10 minutes of use, the picture starts to flicker at regular intervals. I think this is called double image.

I would like to know if it is possible to repair it myself? And which part is defective?

I suppose it’s a matter of a part that heats up and can't withstand the heat. Maybe a thermal pad needs to be replaced?

Thank you for your responses.

Best regards

Good evening,

I would like to know if it is possible to repair it yourself? And which part is defective?

It's hard to know for sure through a forum!

Note that this is a supposition...

It’s possible that one or more capacitors are defective; generally, when a capacitor is defective, it is deformed (or swollen...) and is no longer perfectly cylindrical.

Be careful, there is a risk of serious injury (possibly fatal...) from an electric shock on certain parts of the printed circuit board and on some components; it would be better to see a technician for a quote if you do not have a minimum of knowledge in this area.
