HELLO TO YOU,
I would like to thank you for listening to my request. Recently, the screen of my laptop (Sony Vaio model SVE1512H1EW) was cracked. Not having enough money to replace it, I decided to connect it via a VGA cable to an external monitor. Fortunately, it worked well. However, after a while, this connection no longer works on my Philips monitor model number 170B8 (which only has a VGA output), but it still works on the family screen.
My Philips monitor displays the message: << NO VIDEO INPUT>>
Any idea about the cause and the method(s) to resolve this issue?
