Hello everyone
How can I retrieve the driver of a printer installed on a computer to copy it to another one?
I’ve been looking but I can’t find an INF file for this printer.
On Windows 7 and both computers are on a network.
Thank you in advance for any tips...

Hello,
It's one or two of the files without this folder
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository
I don't know if Driver Magician Free version would export it. -
Well, I found a solution through the network...
I installed the printer on a workstation that has access to the printer driver updates, and I shared it...
Once I found the share on the other workstation, I reinstalled it on the LPT port... and it worked.
It's coming back to me... during a network installation, it's the remote driver of the shared printer that gets copied...
Thank you for your messages... -
Have you checked the driver details in the Device Manager?

I think I have a lead in the properties of his installation on another machine... I will try copying the files to the same location on the new machine..

..
It's the driver for an Epson dot matrix printer (DFX 5000+). The driver is provided by MS and appears in the list when searching for drivers online, and that MS loads all the drivers... So that indicates to me that it's an MS driver.
But since MS support was abandoned for W7, there are no more updates.. well, yes, but only if the previous updates have been completed.. which is not possible with a new installation.
Or I would have to manually install all the KBs until I reach the one that unlocks the printer updates.Hello,
