RCA connection between TV and speaker is not working
Hello,
This is my first time posting a question here :). Unfortunately, I haven't found what I'm looking for in the posts referencing RCA in other topics, so I'd like to get your perspective on my issue.
I have a box connected via HDMI to my TV (audio and video are fine), and I would like to route the sound to a speaker for better sound quality.
On my TV, I have RCA outputs (or at least I assume), here’s a photo:

On the speaker, I have connected my RCA to the IN:

Unfortunately, this doesn’t work.
Do you have any suggestions for me to resolve my issue?
On my end, I’m thinking of simply changing the cable, but I imagine I could try other things as well..
Thank you in advance

Good evening,
in the Central African Republic, you should be able to use the audio outputs of your TV (red and white) to the audio inputs of your amplifier, of the same color.
The problem here is that we cannot tell if the TV's RCA ports are inputs or outputs... You also haven't provided the model of your TV, so this is a guessing game...
Then, assuming that the connections are good...? It is likely that you need to set some switches or menus to have RCA as input on the amplifier and RCA as audio output on the TV...
You also have a SCART socket that could be used, if it actually serves both input and output..??

Hello "Dark" and welcome as a new member
Hi to "jeannets", I read that Dark wants to connect his TV to a speaker, a single speaker isn’t enough, but is it an amp plus speaker that he is presenting to us?
We can use the TV output (out) RCA red and white to an amp.
For the SCART, it's also an input.

Hello,
Doesn't the box have an audio output?
I have serious doubts that those RCA ports on the TV are outputs; they are more likely inputs.
But what is the complete model number of this TV?
