Hello,

My son was in 9th grade last year and the school gave them a tablet for personal use at the end of the year.

The school was supposed to give them the admin codes at the end of the year to allow for a factory reset, but they didn't do it :(

My son has access to his session and can insert a USB key that he can read, but file transfers to the tablet are limited.

Here’s what I can't do: access the BIOS, boot from a USB key before Windows, install software, factory reset....

Each time it asks me for the admin login and password.

Note that I'm not looking to access sensitive data, I just want to reset the tablet so my son can use it.

I think putting software on the USB key that drops itself could be a way to bypass the security, but there may be others.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Best regards,

    Hello,

You understand that here, no one will give you the means to "crack" this tablet.

It could then be reused by ill-intentioned people...

Your only solution is to contact (when it's possible) your son's school to request the admin account.
