Split an illustrator file into multiple ai

Hello, I have files composed of several artboards.

I need to export each artboard so that there is one file for each.

If the original has 10 artboards, I should therefore have 10 files.

The PDF option is fine, but not the AI function.

So I can then take each PDF and with a script re-save it as AI, but it's time-consuming and I also lose all the symbols, LAYERS, and stroke patterns.

Hello,

You can save in EPS format, you will have all your artboards and they will retain the same editing properties as an AI file.
