Hello,

What does a unemployment seeker number look like?

Is the unemployment seeker number the same as the 7-digit identifier number followed by a letter?

Hello,

No, it's not the same.

The job seeker number is created when you register with your access code (password) in order to connect to your personal space on Pôle Emploi.

The 7 digit identifier and one uppercase letter is the reference for your Pôle Emploi file.

It is noted on a document that Pôle Emploi provides when you have opened your rights.

Next time you go to Pôle Emploi, ask for a memo card.

And write down your usernames + password.

What does a job seeker number look like?

You can use a nickname, this will be your identifier to log into the Pôle Emploi site.

For example pistouri and if that one is already taken pistouri 1 (adding a number).

@ pistouri.

Thank you very much for your response,

I registered with a username and a password that I created. Then in "view your credentials or request a new access code" a 7-digit number and a letter are available.

Isn't that the job seeker number?

Sincerely.

I received a letter from the employment agency with this number at the top left, isn't it the jobseeker's number?

The registration number with Pôle Emploi is indeed the one on the letter sent by Pôle Emploi?

Sorry for all these questions and thank you again for your answer.

Hello,

I registered with a username and a password that I created. Then in "view your identifiers or request a new access code," a 7-digit number and a letter are available.

Isn't this the jobseeker number?

Username (jobseeker) = 7 digits + one uppercase letter

It's the same number that you received by mail for your registration or a file was created.

It's your Pôle emploi identifier by reference.

This allows you to connect to the voice server for making phone inquiries.

==► The 7 digits of my Pôle emploi identifier

I received a letter from Pôle emploi with this number at the top left, isn't this the jobseeker number?

No, it's not the same because the other jobseeker number is your identifier to connect to the Pôle emploi website.

This jobseeker number serves as a login parameter to identify you with a password.

Is the registration number with Pôle emploi the one that is on the letter sent by Pôle emploi?

Yes, the 7 digits + one uppercase letter.

In principle, you will rarely use it.

It's your registration number with Pôle emploi, it’s indeed the one on the letter sent by Pôle emploi, the one you created as an identifier (+ password) that you will use the most, either on the Pôle emploi website or directly at the agency, they have computers to connect if you can't do it on your PC.

So yes, there are indeed 2 jobseeker numbers.

- One for registration (reference file).

- One to connect to the Pôle emploi website.

As I said, ask Pôle emploi for a memo card (if you don't have it) of your jobseeker numbers.

Useful for example for the future if you can't download documents, your letters from the Pôle emploi mailbox in your account.

For example, download your situation statements or your appointments.
