Hello everyone,
I am a final year student and I couldn't attend my Philosophy exam due to medical reasons. I have taken all the necessary steps to participate in the replacement session in September. However, I have many questions that are causing me a lot of stress...
1- Even though I am requesting a replacement session, will I still receive my bac results on July 5th?
2- Do I have to retake all the exams during the replacement session?
3- If I know I have passed the bac on July 5th, can I ultimately choose not to attend the replacement session?
Thank you very much in advance for your answers.

Hello,
By default, the replacement session is not a resit but a whole new session, global excluding the anticipated exams.
If you thought you could play poker and still get your diploma with an average that suits you despite a zero in philosophy, you should have gone for it.
But the fact that you requested a replacement session means that you cannot, even if your average allows it, be declared admitted in the first session.

Why didn't you ask your institution or your Academy your questions?

First of all, thank you for your responses. I was able to contact someone during the day at the rectorate of my academy who informed me about the questions I asked.
I will only retake the philosophy exam and not the entire thing.
I was wondering about this concerning the results of July 5th, as my graduate school will not let me enroll because I will not have my diploma for the start of the school year. However, according to the rectorate, they should allow me to enroll.
Thank you again for your responses, the pressure and stress led me to this forum even before I reached out to the official services.
