Impossible to reduce characters in LibreOffice

Hello
for an unknown reason I am unable to adjust the font size to print in Libre Office. It used to work, but now a very large size displays; it is impossible to use the size scale which does not respond. Can you help me find a solution? I thank in advance the person who will take the time to look into my problem.

    Hello
    in case of malfunction, try purging the profile
    Close Open Office or Libre Office
    press the WINDOWS key (a flag) and R (simultaneously).
    -Then type %appdata%
    -Look for the OpenOffice or libreoffice folder
    -Rename it to OldOpenOffice or Oldlibreoffice
