Questionable MMS...

Hello, I have a question please. I received a MMS from an unknown number and it disturbed me, so I tried to download it but it didn't work (downloading in a loop). I should note that I no longer have 4G on this plan, but it still showed "downloading" for long minutes before stopping and starting again several minutes later without me doing anything. I have since deleted the SMS and blocked the number (which was a quite basic Orange number starting with 06). So my question is, is it possible to have caught a virus or some other crap by trying to download the MMS? I specify that it was 104 KB (supposedly). Thank you in advance for your answers.

No worries on my end…
However, just to be safe, you can go into the phone settings to reset it so you can sleep peacefully.
Note that this procedure will erase everything that isn't original on the phone.

Alright, thank you for your response. Since then, I want to say that I tried 2-3 things, including first calling the number (which led to a completely normal Orange voicemail), and then I tried again a bit later and, strangely, now the number is no longer assigned (not assigned at all, as the voicemail says...). I don't know what to think, but anyway, thank you for your response, it reassures me a bit.

Yes, I know, it's just that I wouldn't want my phone to have been infected by some virus or whatever through that MMS when I downloaded the thing, but nothing came out.. anyway, thank you very much :)
