when I want to type a text message, the keyboard appears over the text area, so I can't see what I'm writing. How can I solve this problem? I have a Nokia 8.1

Ok! I misunderstood your problem.
On the keyboard, there is an icon with 3 small dots. Click on it.

What happens next depends on the keyboard you are using:
- With Google's Gboard, you will see Floating; click on it to return to the normal keyboard.
- With other keyboards, you may have the same functionality directly accessible; or it might require going through an intermediate menu, like Modes. I don't know what Nokia has done. You might need to search a bit. But it’s very likely that by going through the icon with the 3 small dots, you will find the solution.
