Hello,
We bought an Office Jet Pro 8022 printer at the office, and I had to install it.
But it's impossible to find the classic installation driver, without having to go through this HP Smart application! They are forcing us into it, and I hate it! I have to open an account, otherwise it doesn't work! Not convenient...... do you know if I can find the classic driver like I had for the previous printer (HP Office Jet Pro 8610), which worked very well..
Can someone help me please?
Thank you for your responses

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 100.0

but I don't find it practical to open Smart every time.

Uninstall HP Smart and the account.

Hello ...

I suggest you check the HP website ► This link
If not Windows 10 - 11 or others ► Change the OS in the options provided
In principle, you should find the drivers to install this printer
See you later for your comments, but if none ► Resolved subject

Thank you for your response,
That's indeed where I went and downloaded the first one, but it absolutely requires us to go through HP Smart..... and I can't find a "classic" driver, without needing this app...

Have you tried clicking on ► Full basic driver and installation software - Supports printing and scanning functions only (2) ► Download on the right
A+

Juste, I chose the one at the very top of the list, the one that is complete... it's going through the HP Smart app that annoys me... I was looking to see if there was a "standalone" driver without having to go through that app.

Personally, I don't see any other solution than to use what HP recommends... It doesn't concern me, but I don't really understand why you don't want to install this printer according to the manufacturer's guidelines... It doesn't commit you to anything to sign up and register this printer if it's required...
See you!

She is set up with that driver, but I don't find it practical to open Smart every time... maybe it's a question of habit, and then having to require an account registration to install a printer, I don't think that's great; it's not very customer-friendly, like having to register with Microsoft... it annoys me, but everyone thinks differently... well, progress... or not! In any case, thank you for your contribution; have a good evening.

I agree with you... but sometimes we don't have much choice!

Look at Kaneagle's post below that offers you a driver...

Hello,
you should have given me the link, because right now I can't see what it is, and maybe it's not worth downloading it... on my personal computer, it won't help me... thank you very much.

It's the driver for the printer.

Also, have you uninstalled HP Smart and the account?

If so and you still have the same issue, I have no more ideas!

Good luck.
