Hello,
I have a Google Favorites account on mobile and favorites on my desktop that sync together.
But recently, I wanted to add YouTube videos from my phone to Google Favorites, but all I find is "Watch Later" in a playlist because it takes me directly to the YouTube app. How can I save a YouTube video from my phone directly to my Google Favorites? I'm not sure if I explained myself well, thanks in advance.

Hi,
I think what you want to do is to view YouTube videos directly in the Chrome browser on Android without using the YouTube app.
By disabling the opening of links in the YouTube app, this will turn it off for all applications (Messenger, WhatsApp, and others). The following procedure should be adapted based on the version of Android and the phone:
To revert, follow the path again and set it to "ask" or "always".
The app should no longer open.
Another method is to switch to another browser like Firefox which also allows you to play YouTube videos in the background using an add-on, Opera, Brave...

Thank you very much, I was able to disable YouTube and now I can add videos to favorites because they no longer open with the YouTube app but rather with Google. Thanks again!!!
