Hello ????
Hello,
An update is available for my Asus liveupdate.
It opened by itself ;-)
No worries, I will do it. But it says to back up all my files first. I don't know how to do that.... :-(
What should I do? Or not do...
A question that may seem silly to you, but I don’t know, so I'm asking.
I wouldn’t want everything to be erased from my PC.
Thank you very much for your help.

Hello,
It's a way to cover your back: there's no reason why a driver update should affect the files, but we've already seen cases where the system itself wouldn't start anymore after such an update (where you then have to revert to a restore point).
But I also don't see the point of updating drivers on a system that's working: in other words, I've always disabled driver updates (specifically, stopping the Asus Live Update service in services.msc if it exists and/or removing it from the automatic startup using tools like autoruns: https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/4175-autoruns/)
