Print an attachment received in message directly

Hello,

Every time I receive an attachment, I have to save it and then go find it in my saved files to print it. I’ve looked in my LibreOffice for how to disable this obligation but didn't find anything. There must be someone more skilled than me who knows how to do it and who would be willing to share that knowledge.

    Hello,

    Without saying how you check your emails, webmail, or email client, you won't get an appropriate response.

    It is not LibreOffice that requires you to save a document received by email in order to open it.
    That said, it is always preferable to save before opening.

    With Outlook, I right-click on the icon representing the attached file and choose "Quick Print."

    I can't use your thing because I use LibreOffice and I have yahoo.fr as my email address.

    You didn't mention how you check your mail.

    If you go on Yahoo's webmail, it's normal that you have to download the attachment. It is stored on Yahoo's server and LibreOffice won't fetch it from there! You need to start by downloading it.

    If you use a mail software like Thunderbird or Outlook, the download will be handled by that software and you will be able to open the attachment directly.

    Thank you for your response explaining why I can’t print directly from yahoo.fr. I do have an Outlook address, but I suppose I need to make it recognize my Yahoo mail. However, Outlook annoys me; it takes a long time to open, displaying a blue envelope before showing me the messages. Is it possible to have my messages recognized by Gmail?

      It's better to use a mail management software like Thunderbird (free), which is lighter than Outlook.
      https://www.thunderbird.net/fr/

      Thunderbird manages all inboxes (including Yahoo).
      The setup is automatic (choose IMAP for receiving mail).
      Attachments open directly.
      In the case of LibreOffice documents, the relevant LibreOffice module launches and opens the attachment.

    Thank you, I didn't know Thunderbird. I would like to add 3 different email addresses and check if I have messages on each of them. Is it possible? How can I do this? Please guide me.
