Reset a company-provided PC

Hello,

I work at a school and a company donated about thirty various PCs to us.
Upon starting them up, Windows (7 or 10) obviously asks for the user password, and it's impossible to go any further. How can I reset the PCs without losing Windows?
Thank you.

    Hello
If it's the BIOS password or another protection/encryption system, you'll need to ask the company for help. This isn't the first time I've seen donations where they don't think at all about unlocking it before the donation.
If it's the Windows user, you just need to reinstall using a USB key and the Microsoft sources.
But you might run into licensing issues, so you should contact the company to help you legally.

    Best regards

    Hello,
thank you for this response. It concerns the administrator password requested at login. I do have an installation USB, but what do you mean by "reinstalling with Microsoft sources"?
    thank you.

Microsoft sources are the ISO files that we mount on a USB stick using software like "Rufus," and then boot from it in the BIOS to install Windows!
