Hello,
Since the update to Windows 11, the Search function on my computer is no longer working.
Indeed, I cannot search for things from File Explorer within the contents of the files.
I have tried the basic troubleshooting steps (searching within contents, reindexing, etc.), but nothing works. I’m feeling a bit lost.
Only one error message appears: "Incorrect permission problems on Windows search directories": I’ve tried to resolve it, but nothing seems to work. I’m feeling lost.
Thank you very much in advance!

Hi,
With the command invite CMD > As an administrator
Then type sfc /scannow
If that doesn't help, probably the only thing that would help would be to reinstall from scratch. -

Hello,
I did not see any problems with this research.
A good precaution: When you reinstall Win 11, make a recovery drive.

You will need a 16 GB drive. It takes quite a while to do.

Use the tool to create a USB drive to update, repair, or reinstall Windows
https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows11
If you already have the Windows ISO file that you can download from the tool, you can create your USB drive with Rufus
Boot from it using the PC's Boot Menu
https://www.malekal.com/liste-touches-acces-bios-boot-menu-constructeur/
If you don't see it, you can search on Google "[Brand Model] Boot Menu Key"
Choose "Custom installation" (Not upgrade)
No need to format if there is space; if there is data, it will be in a Windows.old folder
Install on the same partition, or optionally, delete all system partitions and create a new one (This will delete the data). -
I confirm that everything came back without any issues with a reinstall of W11.
Thanks again,
Have a good day,
