Hello,
I have a gmail account to which I added two other addresses (one nordnet and the other orange).
When I send an email from the nordnet address, I get this reply:
Message not delivered
You are sending this message from another address or alias using the "Send emails as" feature. The settings for this other account are not correctly configured or are outdated. Please check them and try again.
Can you help me fix this?
Thank you in advance
Bruno

Hello
In most programs (clients) that you use to send/receive your messages, your default account (Gmail ???) is used to send everything, the reception goes through each account (Pop/IMAP)...
You need to "allow/authorize" Gmail to send emails on behalf of third parties (other providers).
This is done in the sending server settings "SMTP" which must "authenticate" the connection to Gmail's SMTP.
Gmail outgoing server: smtp.gmail.com
Gmail SMTP name: Your name as it should appear...
Gmail SMTP identifier: your Gmail address (xxxxxx@gmail.com)
Gmail SMTP password: the password for your Gmail
Gmail SMTP port (TLS): 587 or (SSL): 465
Require authentication: Yes
Requires a secure connection: Yes
Cheers
If the answer helped you, a small thank you is very nice...
Is it resolved? The green button at the top is great!
Let him who has never opened a user manual throw the first mouse ;-)
