Hello and best wishes to the members of CCM.
I posted my question on the Windows forum without getting a response, so I am asking it here in another way:
I have a new Asus E210MA-GJ969TS laptop that I’ve had for 3 weeks, and the battery loses charge (1.5% per hour) when the PC is off.
System configuration: Windows 10 Home in S mode, Edge browser, Bing search engine.
From what I’ve read here on CCM and on the Internet, the problem seems to be with Windows 10 not allowing the PC to shut down completely. So I disabled fast startup, and indeed the PC seems to reboot entirely and is a bit slower to start. Whereas before it started faster, as if it were in sleep mode.
I’ve also toggled all the settings that I can find in the PC's Power Settings, but without success. The battery discharge is still 1.5% per hour while at rest (PC off), which is huge. After 4 days of rest, the battery ends up at zero! In my opinion, there is an energy leak.
From everything I’ve read online, the problem seems to be with Windows 10 and not the battery.
Does anyone know this issue?
I would like to install Linux Mint to see if the problem persists, but not in dual boot, only Linux. The issue is that in that case, Windows would be erased...
If the battery discharge problem remains the same with Linux, I would like to return to Windows (in order to have Windows on at least one PC). Is that possible...?
Thank you for your responses.

I had the problem on Linux, but not on Windows (in dual-boot). The USB ports remain powered to charge a phone or other equipment. In my case, we noticed that the mouse stayed on, and one remedy was to unplug it. This dates back several years and I no longer have that PC.
Something was done in the Windows shutdown procedure, but not on Linux. In principle, the USB ports should only remain powered if the mains is connected.

Thank you battery for your response :)
I would like to try Linux to see if the problem persists, but not in dual-boot. Because how can you know in dual-boot which of the two installed systems has control over the PC?
Apart from that, at home my mouse is off when the PC is off. But I will still double-check all the USB ports.
In any case, when I turn off the PC, I unplug everything before putting it away...
I also found that you should turn off your PC by pressing Shift + Shut Down, rather than with a click in the Start menu.
It seems that the PC's sleep mode is deeper because upon startup the image on the screen is no longer the same and the boot is a bit slower (time to launch the entire system, I suppose...).
But unfortunately, the consumption (PC off) is still 1.5% per hour... There is the problem...

I have the same problem with the same computer, the battery slowly discharges when I turn it off with Windows 11. What’s strange is that when I got it new, the battery was charged, then when I updated and installed my various programs, the battery started discharging while it was off.
I am also looking for a solution on my end.

1) It's a mini Laptop, the battery is internal, non-removable.
2) Several searches on the Internet indicate that the problem comes from Windows 10: the PC stays powered on even when it's off! A member of CCM solved the same problem on a Lenovo Laptop, he disabled the constant power to the USB ports in the BIOS. Previously, his battery had been changed, but it was unnecessary... On my Asus, I don't have the option in the BIOS to disable the USB ports, but anyway, my USB ports are off when the PC is off. (I will test all the USB ports once again...)

So, before bringing my Laptop to the repair service of the store where I bought it three weeks ago, I would like to at least try to turn my PC off completely. Because I think there is a power leak, something is remaining in Sleep mode...
How can I turn my PC off completely?
Thank you jns55 for your answer, and if you have any other ideas on the question, I'm open to suggestions :)
Talk to you later...
I'm waiting for the result ...
the customer service gave me a refund voucher and kept the PC.
I was expecting the repair to be done and to know the cause of this energy loss, but no! I didn't get much explanation. When I dropped off my PC, they mentioned resetting Windows, updating the BIOS, and a few other things... but in the end, I won’t know more. Too bad.
The PC has been refunded, that's something…
