Hello. Following the loss of tools in Word files, I had to repair and ultimately

uninstall Office as usual with the help of the CD. I started an installation with the codes (5x5 characters, etc.). I received a message: Error 1305 D:\PFiles\Common\MSShared\Clipart\cagcat50\PE03166_.WMF check if this file exists and you have access to it. OK on the CD and even property with extension in Paint

Installation attempt... Error message 1305 again, Attempt message: This Paint file is not a valid bitmap file or its format is not supported. Unable to change the app, I tried to open it with jpg Attempt launch Re error 1305. The WMF extension is old and should be replaced by jpg for example, I read. The file PE03166 opened is apparently from Paint, finally an image. I am without Word, it's terrible! Thank you for your help. Bye.

    Hello,

Office 2007 installs on Windows 10 without any issues, for Office 2000, the response is random.

First of all, it needs to be Office 2000 SP3.

Even if this is the case, only the compatibility mode (during installation or execution) sometimes works.

It is even more complicated since the last officially compatible Windows version is Windows 2000, possibly XP, but not even Vista, and Windows 10's compatibility mode recognizes XP and Win9X well but does not want to deal with 2000; an alternative would be to attempt to install Office 2000 on a virtual XP machine if one has a license.

But all this doesn't make sense, Office 2000 cannot read the "new" Office file formats, I know there is a patch but it won't allow for editing them either, and online you can find Office 2019 licenses for about twenty euros.

Good evening. Thank you for your response. What bothers me is that, as I said several times, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2000 Pro, sometimes insisting, and it used to work well except for the occasional bug that I always managed to fix. What happened? Was I wrong to uninstall it? But well, I have experienced others and every time I managed to get through it... with the help of friends on the web! So, hang in there. Bye.

    Good evening,

Office 2000 pro (too old) will never work on Windows 10.
At best, you should have repaired it in Programs and Features by right-clicking on the Office 200 line and selecting repair.
Do as Brucine writes, buy a license for Office 2019 online, they will send you a 25-character code by email that you
will enter in your new Office 2019 along with a link to install it. It costs between 15 and 20 Euros. Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Happy Holidays.

Hello. I have been on the internet, there are offers at all prices and I'm getting lost, it starts at
< 10.€ and in addition to purchasing the license, do you also need to buy an activation key?
Nothing is clear; Can you help me with my choice? Thank you.

The license allows you to enter the activation key.

For the retailer, I have no stake; PC Astuces recommends Amazon because of customer reviews and the possible return if not satisfied.

Be careful not to accept Amazon Prime by mistake.

You must, of course, independently download the ISO of Office 2019 corresponding to the available license type.
