Electrical noise/crackling coming from my laptop.

Hello,

The problem I've had for a while now is that my laptop is making a buzzing noise. This usually happens when I'm playing resource-intensive games. The noise seems to be coming from the CD drive (I might be mistaken about the location of the sound; it seems strange that it could come from there).

When I play, after a while, a slight buzzing appears, then the noise gets louder (louder to the point that it can be heard throughout the house), and then there are like crackling sounds that add to it.
When this happens, I close the game and wait several minutes for the buzzing to disappear. (Note that if I turn off my PC, all the buzzing stops immediately)

This problem occurs:
- during a gaming session
- when I am watching a stream and my laptop is plugged in and charging (if the laptop is fully charged or running on battery, it doesn't buzz)

At first, I thought it was due to the laptop overheating, but since the problem also occurs while watching a stream, it can't be that.

This problem is really becoming a hindrance; I am forced to stop all activities because, aside from being noisy, it worsens over time, which makes me think that if I do nothing, my laptop might end up having issues.

A few additional details:
- My laptop is an ACER Predator G9
- The link to the audio file of the noise: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1y8qRtpKl5ePUXLuDWfaoLE-xqe08V57o/view?usp=sharing
(using a drive might not be super practical, but it should work)

I hope you have some ideas; thank you in advance!

Hello,
the DVD player is turned off when not in use, so as you suggested it would be very surprising if it were the problem.

I think it's the fan(s) making that noise. The solution is to dismantle the computer, remove the fan, and put a drop of oil (for example, motor oil) through the hole located under the label in the middle. In some cases, you'll need to remove the fan blades. In this case, pull on the part where the blades are (pull on the middle part to avoid breaking the blades; if needed, I could explain with a photo). Turn the fan with your hands to spread the oil.
