Hello
when I save a file in documents, it becomes locked upon opening, and when I save it in images or videos, it is not locked
I right-click on documents and removed the check mark in the unlocked box. Then apply... Nothing happens.
What should I do to unlock the files in documents?
thank you for your response
Fred

    Re
is it for a single file
if so, check if there is still a file type
    .~lock.filename.ods#
    in the save directory

    hello
by "locked," should we understand "read-only"?

Yes exactly. I right-clicked on the doc, then properties, then unchecked read-only. It's still the same.

    Hello
if it is only under open office try purging the profile
Close Open Office or Libre Office
press the WINDOWS key (a flag) and R (simultaneously).
    -Then, type %appdata%
-Look for the OpenOffice or libreoffice folder
-Rename it to OldOpenOffice or Oldlibreoffice

No, it doesn't work; the document is still locked for editing by an unknown user.

No, it's for all files uploaded in documents. Once copied into images or videos, there's no problem; everything is normal.

      Re
If it's the same for other recordings with other software,
perhaps we should place the question in the Windows section of the Forum.

No, it's only for a document recording.
