Modify parental control code Family Link.

Hello,
I installed Family Link on my daughter's phone, but she discovered the parental code. I want to change it, but I can't find out how to do it; the only information I've found explains how to use the temporary parental code.

Good evening, I do not wish to change his Google account password but the password I chose on family link which is used to unlock his phone when it is locked during the hours I have set on the app. Thank you

Hello,

In the "Battery" settings of your phone, look for a menu or option called "Battery Optimization," "Power Usage Details," or something similar. This is where the phone manages which apps are restricted to save battery.

In this menu, you will see a list of all the apps and services on the phone. Find the Family Link app in this list. Generally, you can search for a specific app, or it may be listed under "Google" if sorted by company.

Once you find the Family Link app, select it. You should see options to adjust how it is handled by battery optimization. Select "Don't optimize," "Disable," or the equivalent option that will remove battery optimization for this app.

The exact names and options may vary slightly between different versions and devices of Android, so you may need to look for equivalent options if the exact names provided here are not present on your child's P8 Lite.
