SMS issues that turn into MMS

Hello,
I'm using the Xiaomi Note 9.
Every time I send a text message, it turns into a multimedia message.
I have looked through the forums, but I can't find any solution that applies to my phone.
Can you help me?

Configuration: Android / Chrome 95.0.4638.50

      Honestly, after attending several forums and testing multiple ineffective solutions, SMS are still limited to 160 characters. The only solution is to split the text into two or three messages or switch to other messaging services like WhatsApp or Messenger, where there is no limit, including emojis.
