Hello, I have a problem with my keyboard.
The issue lies with the inputs. The "p" key outputs "poiureza" and increases the volume with two beeps, and the "m" key outputs *mlkjfd while muting the sound. There are also the "%" key and the ";" key that are behaving inappropriately. I have disassembled and cleaned the PC, but it hasn’t changed anything.
I work on backend development, so you can understand that all of this is causing me a big problem.
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T530, and I haven't done anything special with it that would cause this issue.
I’m surprised to find no mention of this problem on any forum...
Thank you for any potential solutions.

Hello,
If in doubt, we can check if it's infectious, but have you tried another keyboard as suggested before?
We'll start with a PC diagnosis:Please read through the entire procedure before posting the reports
The reports FRST.txt and Addition.txt are expected
All reports must be hosted on https://security-x.fr/up/ and you should indicate the links obtained in your response
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--> The SmartScreen filter may trigger an alert. Click on Actions or More information and then click Run anyway
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--> Download the FRST version of Farbar, compatible with your system, and save the file to your Desktop
--> For a 32-bit system
--> For a 64-bit system
How to know which 32-bit or 64-bit version is running on my system?
--> Wait for your browser to offer the download to save, without clicking anywhere, especially not on the sponsors of the page.
--> Close all applications, including your browser
--> Double-click on FRST.exe and click Yes to accept the Disclaimer
--> Under Vista, Windows 7 / 8 and 10, you need to launch the file by right-clicking -> Run as administrator
--> Wait for it to indicate The tool is ready to run
--> In the main menu, click on Scan and wait for the analysis to complete
--> At the end of the scan, the FRST.txt and Addition.txt reports are created. Post these reports in your next response.
--> The reports are saved in the same location as the tool and under C:\FRST\Logs -
Hello, test with a USB keyboard to isolate the problem.
Update your keyboard/TouchPad drivers on the Lenovo website.
Also, change the title of your post to "Lenovo ThinkPad Keyboard Issue" you will likely get more responses, I think.-

Saying that something is documented in French means that the subject has been discussed, not explicitly resolved, and if I made this statement, it is because I verified it.
The internet is indeed not very forthcoming on this type of problem (probably because the errant characters are not always the same from one user to another).
The links in question clearly mention a virus (keylogger), which makes sense since the other hypothesis (hardware failure of the keyboard) would not cause the appearance of different characters.
I tried to steer you towards a virus; Mistery Bean thinks the same as I do after me.
But the fact that no one has a miraculous solution to offer you on a plate likely does not justify your disappointment in becoming both unsubstantiated and unpleasant. -
