Hello,
I want to install 2 power line adapters to improve my internet connection. It is stated that the 2 adapters must be on the same electrical circuit.
The adapters will be on different floors.
The electrical outlets are connected to different circuit breakers in the electrical panel, but I have a single main meter.
Will it work?

Powerline adapters to improve an internet connection ... what a funny idea.
Are you talking about a Wi-Fi network, is it a pair of powerline adapters with one acting as a Wi-Fi access point?
If you really want to improve it, you should run an Ethernet cable directly to your router; that will give you the best performance, or if you're really averse to cables, you can install a mesh Wi-Fi system, but that also makes sense for mobility.
However,
if a powerline network will work in your home, nobody can guarantee it; this technology is too sensitive to fluctuations in its electromagnetic environment, particularly electrical network pollution.
The only thing that definitely works at this level is a direct Ethernet cable.
So there you go,
it should work on paper ... or maybe not.
But already, going through two circuit breakers doesn’t help, you're right to point that out.

In my case, on the same outlet circuit, there is practically no loss; output from the box is around 300 Mbps and from the powerline adapters on the first floor between 260 and 280 Mbps.
However, the powerline adapters should be the only ones on their outlet and not on multiple outlets.

We have been using powerline adapters for almost 9 years. We have a total of 7 spread over 3 levels.
All of these plugs work wonderfully. No issues since their installation.
As mentioned earlier, they should not be installed behind power strips, even though I've tried it and it still works, but there can be signal loss. Always on the same electrical network from one meter.
We have never experienced electrical or electromagnetic disturbances as mentioned above; that is completely false. Supposedly microwaves cause disturbances, which is untrue; we have 3 microwaves, and we have never noticed anything regarding this; it's all just nonsense. The powerline adapters work very well, but be careful about the brand and prices because there are powerline adapters and powerline adapters; the cheaper they are, the more problems you'll have.
We have DEVOLO brand powerline adapters, and as mentioned before, we have never had any problems since their purchase.

We cannot categorically claim that they will always perform poorly, nor conversely that they will always work well, as this is a "sensitive" technology that depends on the environment, even if we choose high-quality and sufficiently fast equipment.
In short, we cannot predict whether they will work or not; the only way is to try, but a pair of wired powerline adapters with 1000-1200 mbps generally costs around €100 rather than €50.

I conclude that I can connect one powerline adapter to the box with an Ethernet cable and another Wi-Fi powerline adapter with Ethernet cables to the TV devices, etc., and that other devices like tablets will receive a better Wi-Fi signal?
powerline adapters don't improve anything at all.
It's just an easy solution to replace an Ethernet cable, which should remain the standard.
But with a lot of losses....
a powerline Wi-Fi is mainly used to connect Wi-Fi devices.
