The error message E08 Canon Pixma MP280 indicates that the ink absorber of the printer is almost full. To correct this error, follow the steps below.

Turn on your printer to fix the Canon Pixma MP280 error codes.
Press and hold the reset button, then press the power button on your printer.
Wait for a moment, then release the power and reset buttons.
Press the reset button five times, then release the power button.
Now, the computer will detect the new device.
The installation wizard will prompt you to click Cancel.
Open the Software Resetter MP280 folder on your computer.
A window will prompt you to select a region. After selecting the region, click on Main in the Clear Ink Counter option.
The message A function has been completed will appear on the screen, click OK.
Go to Devices and Printers and double-click on your printer. The error should disappear.
If the Canon Pixma MP280 error codes persist, reset the printer.
