    The news is not good. When the absorptive pads are full, it means the printer is dead.

    Indeed, replacing the pads is a dirty and tedious operation, as the pads are difficult to access.
    If you manage to change them, you've only done half the job, because you also need to reset the counter. Currently, there is no simple technique to do this.

    All of this means that you need to return it to customer service. The cost is likely to far exceed the value of the printer.

    It’s therefore better to buy a new one and take the old one to the dump.

    Planned obsolescence in all its glory!
