Hello everyone, this question has already been asked several times here but the information I've found seems outdated or I don't understand anything at all.
I recently bought a computer but it has very poor Wi-Fi reception from my room, then I was advised to connect it via an Ethernet cable.
That's what I did, except that after several attempts and research, I realized that the outlets weren't working.
I then saw that I needed to make different connections, but the language is way too technical for someone like me who doesn't know anything about it. I'm therefore asking for your help, potential experts.

If your box is in the living room, what is the black box at the bottom of the photo connected to the living room socket? A switch?
With a box in the living room, the box needs to be connected to the wall socket in the living room. And you must plug an Ethernet cable into the communications box between the living room socket and the socket in your bedroom (1, 2, or 3). This provides network access to the wall socket in the bedroom.
The small gray wires on bedroom 1, bedroom 2, and on the DTI can be removed; they are cables used only for telephony/ADSL.

Can I use the gray wire to connect the living room socket to my bedroom socket? Because otherwise I'm going to be short an ethernet cable, so I won't have it until tomorrow.
